How to configure my e-mail client
the vast majority of the mail programs available for free allow you to read
and write your e-mails 'offline'. This means that you can write as long, and as
many, e-mails as you want, without being connected to the Internet via your
telephone line, thus saving you money. You only need to connect to the Internet,
when you're ready to send your e-mails. Once connected, the e-mails will be sent
and you can also check your mailbox. New messages will be downloaded to your
system, after which you can disconnect to read your e-mails and write any
replies.

Test your own mail configuration:
Send Test: This will use your mail program to send a test message
to one of our servers, which will almost immediately reply to your message. This
will prove that your mail service, both outbound and inbound, is working
correctly.
Send your test to test@uniweb.be
Unable to send: If you think the problem is related to the sending
of mail, complete the form below. Pressing the submit button will cause an
e-mail to be sent to the address you specify.
E-mail: a definition
E-mail (short for electronic mail) enables you to send
letters and messages to people, using your computer. An Internet account with
UniWeb includes an e-mail address. This is similar to a house address, as it
gives you a unique identity on the Internet, so other people can write to you.
In order to write to someone, they will need an Internet account similar to
yours, with an e-mail address of their own. This is their unique identity on the
Internet and does not have to be an account with UniWeb.
