It’s also popular with Dutch people, because “nu” means now.   Legal requirements No special requirements. Anyone can register a .nu domain name.   Technical requirements No special requirements   Naming conventions All letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9) are allowed; hyphens (-) are also allowed, however not at the beginning or at the end of the domain name. A domain name should be between 3 and 63 characters long.   Registration term 1 to 20 years

Renewal The billing contact of the domain name will automatically receive an invoice to renew the domain name. If the invoice is paid before the domain name expires, the domain name will be renewed. Note the importance of correct billing information!
